September 16 and 17 - NSQG Quilt Show
We will be vending A Festival of Quilts at the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center in Hoffman Estates. Hours are Friday, 10 - 8 and Saturday, 10 - 5 pm.
September 23, 24, and 25 - Quilters Destination 5th Anniversary Celebration - Yep, we are 5 years old this month! Come celebrate with us! We will have a storewide Special anniversary sale and other funn stuff! Details will be sent separately closer to the event, so watch your in-boxes!
October 1 - Launch Party for the NEW Top of the Line Janome Embroidery machine!
Join us on Oct 1 for the unveiling and first look at the new machine! Official unveiling at 10:30 am with demo to follow!
October 14 and 15 - Quilt Show
We will be vending the 2011 Village Quilters of Lake Forest / Lake Bluff quilt show at the Lake County Fair Grounds in Grayslake, IL, Hours are Friday, 10 -5 and Saturday 10 - 5 pm.
October 22 - Halloween celebration - Patti is at her semi-annual buying Quilt Market over Halloween, so we will have our celebration early! Join us on Sat. Oct 22 for the haunted Quilt shop! We will have our table of delectable nibbles and Halloween fabric will be on sale. We will be in costume and if you come in costume, we have a free gift for you! (But remember, WE judge what is a costume!)
November 16 - Blue Underground Designers Book Signing and Reception
The Blue Underground Studios gals also have a new book being published that fall titled "Colorful Quilts" by C&T Publishers. It is their first book, and we are very excited for them!! Join us in November for a book signing event. Amy and Janine (The Blue Underground designers) will be here discussing their new book and showing off all the quilts from the book with a trunk show. They will sign your book for you and even personally help you select fabric to make the quilts in their style! What fun! We'll have plenty of books for you to purchase so mark your calendar for this relaxing evening of the ultimate show and tell! Wine and Cheese will be served.
